Kestrel model, sinker redwood / Cocobolo with ebony rims

Rigid Rim Technology

A great client in Southern California commissioned this guitar last year. It was a challenging build but worth every effort.

Brazilian rosewood headplate bound in ebony. The paua abalone logo is also framed in ebony.

The white colored purfling is flamed maple. Even at only .020" wide, it has a notable sparkle.

My wacky segmented rosette of end grain black palm and framed with flame figured maple.

The fingerboard and bridge are actually old stock Brazilian rosewood.
